You also need to make sure that the swine panels are at least 4-5 feet in height so they cannot jump the fence.

They are rather structured and fresh animals so you need to keep their feeding troughs in a special area from where they sleep or use the bathroom. Inside of the swine panels there should be a good bit of straw which is necessary to keep them warm in the winters or cold months and to absorb odors when they use the bathroom. You may also have a mud pile when you build swine panels. As pig need them when they are trying to cool off during the hot season. While you decide a gate you should keep in mind that there is not too much space left between the bottom of the gate and the floor, and also between the gate and the panel. And if you leave them enough room between the floor and the bottom of the gate while building a swine panels for a pig to get its nose under it the pig can pick it up often damaging the gate and hurting itself.
